Placing and managing an advert
How do I place an advert?
Create or log in to your account, visit Place an Advert, add your advert information and photos, choose your listing plan and complete payment. Your advert is then created for the selected listing period.
What can I advertise on FuneralTrade.ie?
FuneralTrade.ie is focused on the funeral trade. Suitable listings include funeral vehicles, coffins and caskets, mortuary equipment, trolleys and handling equipment, funeral supplies and relevant trade services.
How many photos can I add?
Standard and Premium Spotlight adverts can include up to 20 photos. You can select a main image and add supporting gallery images to show the item clearly.
Can I edit my advert after it goes live?
Yes. From My Account you can open My Adverts and edit your title, price, description, vehicle or product information and images. Editing does not restart the original listing period.
Can I delete an advert?
Yes. You can remove your own advert from My Adverts. A confirmation step is shown first to help prevent accidental deletion.
Plans and listing fees
How much does a Standard Advert cost?
A Standard Advert costs €19.99 as a one-off payment and remains live for 90 days.
What is Premium Spotlight?
Premium Spotlight costs €34.99 as a one-off payment and runs for 120 days. It receives premium gold styling and stronger marketplace visibility than a Standard Advert.
How much is a Business Showroom?
A Business Showroom costs €29.99 per month and is designed for funeral businesses that want a permanent branded presence with unlimited active adverts.
Are there any hidden listing fees?
No. The price shown for your selected package is the listing fee.
How do I pay?
Payment is completed securely through the FuneralTrade.ie checkout using WooCommerce. Your selected listing package is applied automatically after checkout.
Building a trade presence
What is a Business Showroom?
A Business Showroom is a dedicated FuneralTrade.ie profile for funeral businesses. It can display your logo, cover image, company information, contact details and all of your active adverts in one branded showroom.
How many adverts can a Business Showroom have?
Business Showroom accounts are designed to support unlimited active adverts while the subscription is active.
Can customers contact my business directly?
Yes. Your showroom can display your business contact information and buyers can view your products and contact details directly from your profile.
Can I upload my own logo and cover image?
Yes. Business profiles use the WordPress Media Library, so you can upload or select your own business logo and cover image without pasting image URLs.
Where can I see Business Showrooms?
Visit the Business Showrooms directory to browse businesses and open their individual showroom profiles.
Login and account management
Do I need an account to place an advert?
Yes. An account lets FuneralTrade.ie securely associate the advert with you and gives you access to My Adverts so you can view, edit and remove your own listings.
Where do I manage my adverts?
Log in and visit My Account. From there you can access your current adverts, place another advert and manage your marketplace activity.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use the password reset option on the Login / Register page. WordPress will send a password reset link to the email address associated with your account.
Can someone else edit my advert?
No. Front-end advert editing is restricted to the account that owns the advert, with ownership and security checks in place.
