Buying a hearse is a significant investment for any funeral director. Whether you are replacing an existing vehicle, expanding your fleet or purchasing your first hearse, the used market can offer excellent value.
However, buying a funeral vehicle is very different from purchasing an ordinary used car. Age and mileage are important, but they tell only part of the story.
From vehicle condition and conversion quality to service history and presentation, there are several factors worth considering before making a purchase.
1. Decide What You Need Before You Start Looking
Before searching for a used hearse, consider how the vehicle will fit into your existing fleet and the type of work it will undertake.
